TrafficWardenAlert is a UK community network that warns drivers the moment a traffic warden is spotted near their parked car. Members report sightings, everyone nearby gets an alert, and a live map shows where wardens are working right now.

Founder
Why I built this
I kept getting tickets that a warning would have avoided. So I built the thing I wanted: a network where drivers tell each other where wardens are working. I still run the product day to day, with a small UK team who build the apps, moderate reports and answer the support email.
Running since
The network has been live in the UK since early 2026, first as a web app and now as native iOS and Android apps.
Where we sit
The team is based in the UK. Coverage runs across England, Scotland and Wales, with a separate Gibraltar network.
A warden sighting is only useful while it is still true. Each report carries a confidence score, community upvotes or disputes, and it stops being shown as active once it goes stale.
If three members flag a sighting as a false alarm, it is resolved automatically. The spotter can file an appeal with photos and location logs, and the trust score follows the confirmations rather than the volume of reports.
Joining is free, and one £1.50 registration covers a vehicle for alerts by push, SMS and email. Tips between members are optional. We do not sell your location data or run third-party ad networks on the site.
For anything to do with your account, a wrong report, a missing alert or a payout owed to you, email support@trafficwardenalert.uk. A real person reads every message, usually within one working day.
